Job summary

Great Little Box Company in Edmonton is seeking a motivated Forklift Driver to join our Shipping Team on the morning shift (Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM). You will pick and stage orders, load/unload trucks, and operate an electric sit-down counterbalance forklift. Our team-oriented culture supports safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Current forklift certificate class 1, 4, 5 required.
• 3-5 years of forklift experience required.
• Certification with high-reach forklift is considered an asset.
• Intermediate first aid is an asset.
• Effective communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
• Ability to work well with people in a team environment.
• Experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs, as this position requires lifting, bending, and moderate physical exertion.
• Ability to multi-task.
• A positive ‘can do’ attitude.

Responsibilities

• Pick and stage orders in the warehouse.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Operate an electric sit-down counterbalance safely and efficiently.
• Use barcode system to locate product in the warehouse.
• Unload production lines and put away product in the warehouse as required.
• Ensure all equipment is operating properly and inform appropriate personnel of any problems.
• Count inventory as required.
• Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while operating a forklift.
• Comfortable working outside from time to time sorting pallets and bringing pallets to production.
• Other general warehouse duties as required.

Compensation

• The typical hiring range for this position is $20.50-22.50/hour
