Arterra Wines Canada is looking for a Forklift & Warehousing Equipment Operator in Oliver, British Columbia. The role involves operating forklifts and automated equipment while ensuring safety and efficiency in warehousing tasks.

Compensation ranges from $21.00 to $24.00 per hour, along with benefits like product allowances and training programs.
The Forklift & Warehousing Equipment Operator is responsible for the safe setup and operation of warehousing forklifts, automated palletization, de‑palletization, and pallet wrapping equipment. The operator ensures all equipment is operating safely, correctly, timely and efficiently.
This position is located in a beverage/food manufacturing plant just outside Oliver, British Columbia. It requires flexibility with schedule, including break times and working extended hours when needed. The operator is exposed to moving machinery such as forklifts and palletization equipment.
Required safety gear includes Hi‑Visibility jackets or sashes, safety eyewear, a company‑provided hairnet/beard net as appropriate, and CSA‑approved footwear. The job is physically demanding, often involving repetitive lifting up to 55 lbs (25 kg) and exposure to noise requiring hearing protection as necessary.
Substantial attention to detail in all duties; efficiency and effectiveness; administrative accuracy; effective communication; ability to meet plans and objectives; organization and cleanliness of the work environment; mathematical calculation skills; decision‑making and problem‑solving; experience as a forklift operator is an asset but not required.
Minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent education.
