Job summary

Armour Transportation Systems in Moncton is seeking a reliable, safety‑focused Dock Worker to support freight movement at the terminal. You will load and unload shipments, organize dock operations, and operate PPE equipment while following all safety procedures.

This permanent, full-time role runs Monday to Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. Candidates should be dependable, physically capable, and able to lift heavy loads in a noisy warehouse environment, with forklift certification as an asset.

Qualifications

• Safety-conscious, dependable and fit for a physically demanding role.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures (WHMIS, etc.).
• Reliable transportation to and from the workplace.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload freight from trailers in a safe and efficient manner.
• Sort, stage and organize shipments within the dock area.
• Use scanners and paperwork.
• Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks).
• Verify shipment accuracy and report damages or discrepancies.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Attend in-house training sessions as required (e.g. dangerous goods, WHMIS).
• Follow all company safety procedures and policies.
• Work with teammates and supervisors to meet deadlines.

Location:

Moncton, NB

Role Type:

Existing role, permanent, full time

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 7:00AM to 3:30PM

Wage:

$18.45 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Load and unload freight from trailers in a safe and efficient manner
• Sort, stage and organize shipments within the dock area
• Use of scanners and paperwork
• Operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks)
