Job summary

Armour Transportation Systems is seeking Domestic Owner Operators to join our team in Moncton, NB, Dartmouth, NS and Sydney, NS. You’ll deliver domestic loads across the Maritimes and cross Newfoundland as required, with a 5-day schedule and reset at home.

We require a 2021+ sleeper cab tractor trailer, a valid Class 1 license, and a minimum of 2 years driving in CDN climates; road test and drug test are required. Competitive mileage/hourly pay with incentives and safety bonuses are offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of Class 1 driving in CDN climates with a clean abstract.

Position Available

Owner Operators in Moncton, NB / Sydney, NS / Dartmouth, NS

As part of our team, you’ll:

• Deliver domestic loads across the Maritimes and live cross the Newfound land ferry. Deliver loads across NL for 5 days before live crossing to head home for your reset.

What You Bring to the Table:

• Tractor Trailer with a sleeper cab must be 2021 or newer.


• Truck must be White or Red, or the OO must enroll in the Paint/Wrap Program to have it painted/wrapped Red.


• Minimum of 2 years of class 1 driving in CDN/similar climates with a clean abstract.


• Must pass a road test/drug test

Work Schedule:

• You’ll begin your 5-day trip picking up loads in Maritimes and heading to Newfound land to live cross the ferry. You will be expected to work your 5-day trip on the island and live cross with a load before heading home for your reset.


• You will receive incentives to cross the ferry and higher mileage/hourly pay while working in Newfoundland.


• There will be Domestic/Shunting loads available if sailings are closed.
