Job summary

RONA, located in Alberta, is seeking a skilled forklift operator for our distribution center. You will play a key role in receiving, loading, and handling operations to ensure smooth daily workflow and high customer satisfaction.

As part of the team, you will operate a forklift, inspect equipment and loads for safety and accuracy, and prepare/assemble orders while maintaining a clean, safe work environment.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator certification (license if required)
• Capacity for continuous physical work (lifting up to 23 kg) in varied outdoor conditions
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and adaptability to changing priorities
• Team spirit, effective communication, and task autonomy
• Familiarity with materials and stock management procedures

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to load, unload, and store products according to standards
• Inspect equipment, loads, and products to ensure compliance and report issues
• Prepare and assemble orders, prioritizing tasks and ensuring accuracy
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment by assisting with warehouse and yard maintenance
• Record returns and stock adjustments in the system
• Collaborate with the team to deliver exceptional customer service using SMART principles
