Job summary

Techo-Bloc is seeking a Production Forklift Driver in Chambly, Canada to keep the production line moving safely and efficiently. This hands-on role is perfect for someone who enjoys working close to production and taking pride in meeting high standards.

You will operate sit-down forklifts, move finished products to storage, inspect equipment, and uphold health and safety rules. Night shift: Mon-Thu, 5:30 PM–5:30 AM.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator's competency card or to be renewed
• Experience as a sit-down forklift operator (1 year minimum)
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Punctual person
• Ensure compliance with work safety standards and instructions

Responsibilities

• Operate a propane or electric sit-down forklift
• Move finished products to storage & transport materials as needed
• Inspect equipment and report mechanical issues
• Keep your work area and forklift clean and safe
• Follow all health & safety rules (seatbelt on at all times!)
• Stay alert to avoid incidents involving pedestrians, trucks, buildings, fixed equipment, and other machinery

$23.07 to $23.61/hour

Night shift:Monday to Thursday, 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM

Your Role

As aProduction Forklift Driver, you’ll play a key role in keeping the production line moving smoothly and safely.

You will:

• Operate a propane or electricsit-down forklift
• Move finished products to storage & transport materials as needed
• Inspect equipment and report mechanical issues
• Keep your work area and forklift clean and safe
• Follow all health & safety rules (seatbelt on at all times!)
• Stay alert to avoid incidents involving pedestrians, trucks, buildings, fixed equipment, and other machinery

This is a physically demanding position. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23kg). Manual dexterity, teamwork, hand-eye co-ordination and a combination of sitting, standing and walking required.
