Job summary

Advantage Personnel is seeking an experienced Counterbalance Forklift Operator for a Vaughan, Ontario location. The role operates on straight shifts from 11 pm to 7 am, Monday to Friday, with a pay rate of $20.00 per hour plus a shift premium of $0.50 per hour.

The successful candidate will join a fast-paced cross-dock operation handling loading/unloading, freight movement, and general warehouse tasks. Requirements include at least 1 year of counterbalance experience, cross-dock experience

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year counterbalance experience.
• Cross dock experience is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of WMS.
• Willing and able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must have reliable transportation as the company is not on a bus route.
• Positive attitude and eagerness to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers and place skids in designated areas.
• Move freight safely and efficiently within the warehouse.
• Cube pallets (measure and compute volume).
• Support general warehouse activities as needed.

Job Title: Counterbalance Forklift Operator

Job Duties:

• Safety operates Counterbalance at a steady pace
• Load, offload trailers and place skids in the proper area of the warehouse
• Cube pallets (measuring, calculating, or utilizing the 3-dimensional volume (Length × Width × Height)
• Assist within the warehouse as required
