Job summary

Adecco Canada is hiring a Warehouse Associate for a client’s distribution team in Belleville, ON. You will perform order picking, shipping/receiving, and inventory movement, operating material handling equipment including Counterbalance Forklift, Reach Truck, and Order Picker.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent.
• Previous warehouse, distribution, or order fulfillment experience.
• Experience with RF scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Knowledge of warehouse health and safety practices.
• Valid forklift experience operating Counterbalance Forklift, Narrow Aisle Reach Truck, and Order Picker.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and move products and materials manually or using equipment.
• Operate forklifts (Counterbalance, Reach Truck, Order Picker) safely and efficiently.
• Accurately pick and prepare customer orders for shipment.
• Sort, process, and distribute incoming shipments.
• Pick and pack orders manually or with Exotec and CMC systems.
• Create shipping labels and assemble products onto pallets or racks.
• Investigate and resolve issues with missing shipments or documentation.
• Report inventory discrepancies and maintain a clean, safe workplace.
• Follow SOPs and safety protocols; report hazards promptly.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

You will be responsible for order picking, shipping and receiving activities, inventory movement, and operating material handling equipment, including a Counterbalance Forklift, Reach Truck, and Order Picker.

Responsibilities:

• Load, unload, and move products and materials manually or using material handling equipment.

Qualifications and Skills:

• High school diploma (Grade 12) or equivalent.

• Previous warehouse, distribution, or order fulfillment experience.

• Experience working with RF scanners or warehouse management systems.

• Knowledge of warehouse health and safety practices.

• Valid forklift experience operating:

  • Counterbalance Forklift

  • Narrow Aisle Reach Truck

  • Order Picker

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.

• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Basic math skills.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Ability to work efficiently both independently and within a team environment.

• Experience operating material handling equipment in tight or congested spaces.

• Ability to safely perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg) without assistance.

• Ability to use proper ergonomic techniques for lifting, bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling.

• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.

• Must be legally eligible to work, and reside in Canada
