Job summary

Techo-Bloc is seeking a dedicated Forklift Operator, Order Picker, and Scale Clerk for day shifts at our Quebec facility. You will load and transport materials, inspect products, and ensure accurate data entry while maintaining safety and quality standards.

The role requires a valid forklift operator certification (or 1 year experience), physical stamina, and punctuality. We offer competitive pay and a stable manufacturing environment in Canada.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job Description

Compensation and Schedule

Competitive salary: $23.97 to $24.50/hour

Day shift: Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Your Role

Forklift Operator, Order Picker, and Scale Clerk

Forklift Operator (Experience MANDATORY)

• Load flatbed trailers according to operational needs
• Transport various materials and/or supplies required for operations
• Inspect equipment before the start of each shift and perform operator changeovers as needed
• Ensure cleanliness of the premises and equipment to maintain a safe and clean work environment
• Review completed work from the previous shift and upcoming tasks based on priorities set by the production supervisor
• Notify the production supervisor of any mechanical issues
• Operate the forklift safely and diligently
• Demonstrate a high level of vigilance to prevent accidents and/or tip-overs (pedestrians, buildings, fixed equipment, trucks, and other machinery)
• Use the forklift according to its capabilities and limitations
• Outdoor work

Order Preparation

• Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant, manually or using mechanical equipment
• Perform a complete inspection of finished products
• Sort, package, crate, and wrap materials and products
• Perform any other related labor or general work tasks

Scale Clerk

• Record the weight of all incoming loads
• Enter reports and data into the computer system as required
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation
• Communicate with yard personnel, customer service, production staff, and other relevant stakeholders as needed

• Comfortable operating a forklift (1 year of experience)
