Job summary

The Melo Corporation o/a Swiss chalet/ Harvey's in Tillsonburg, Ontario is seeking a food service supervisor to oversee meal preparation, train team members, and ensure quality control. This permanent, full-time position requires prior experience in a kitchen, strong organization, and customer service focus.

Work is on-site at the restaurant with a 40-hour week and a pay rate of CAD 19.00 per hour. Starts as soon as possible, with one vacancy available.

Qualifications

• Secondary school graduation certificate is required.
• 1 year to less than 2 years experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish methods to meet work schedules
• Supervise and co-ordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
• Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures
• Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
• Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and wastage
