Job summary

Canlan Sports in Toronto is seeking a passionate cook for our Wild Wing restaurant. You will plate and present food in a prompt, courteous, and accurate manner following standardized recipes that exceed guest expectations.

Upholding safety and sanitation standards, you will work flexible evenings and weekends, contribute to a positive team environment, and help maintain a smooth kitchen operation in a fast-paced venue across Canada’s premier recreational venues.

Qualifications

• Food Safe Certified (or equivalent) required.
• Previous food preparation experiences an asset.
• Positive and team orientated attitude.
• Willingness and ability to work flexible hours (evenings & weekends).

Responsibilities

• Food preparation in keeping with standardized recipes including the following
• Apply developed knowledge of menu items
• Ensure opening / closing procedures are completed (shift dependent)
• Ensure safe, sanitary and secure storage of products and receive delivery when required
