Job summary

Walmart Canada in Toronto is seeking an energetic leader to assist in the Food and Consumables areas, guide department processes, respond to issues, and coach associates through teaching and training while upholding a high level of customer service.

You will plan department activities, assist on the salesfloor as needed, and coordinate task completion to meet priorities from leadership. Leading daily huddles and maintaining safe, presentable displays are key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Age – 16 or older.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, promote products/services, locate merchandise, assist with purchases and resolve issues.
• Coordinate task completion and delegate daily availability processes.
• Assess department presentation and implement merchandising changes.
• Lead daily team huddle, communicate updates, set goals and track productivity.
• Review schedules with People Lead.
• Assign associates to coverage tasks across store areas.
• Identify training opportunities and develop associates through teaching and feedback.
• Maintain a safe, clean and hazard-free environment per policy and perform safety checks.
• Complete GTA/Workday tasks and support Management.
• Support coaching and growth conversations for associates and assist recruiting.
