Job summary

Walmart Canada in Edmonton is seeking a team-oriented individual to support the Food & Consumables leadership, engage with customers, and help drive department processes on the sales floor. You will assist with task coordination, merchandising, and daily huddle updates, while enabling growth opportunities for associates.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent Customer Service by greeting customers and assisting with product/services, locating merchandise and resolving issues.
• Assist in coordinating task completion as per priorities from the Food & Consumables Coach and Store Management; delegate and follow-up on daily tasks.
• Assess department presentation and merchandising, noting deficiencies and implementing display changes as needed.
• Maintain clear communication with associates; lead daily team huddles, share updates, set goals, and track productivity.
• Review schedules with People Lead and assign associates to cover availability tasks across the store.
• Identify training opportunities during tours with Coach and team members; provide feedback and coaching as needed.
• Contribute to a safe, clean, hazard-free environment by following policy and completing safety checks.
• Complete GTA/Workday tasks and support Management.
• Partner with Coach/People Lead to support performance conversations and assist with recruiting and hiring.
