Job summary

Colter Energy Inc. in Alberta seeks Day Supervisors to oversee field operations across Alberta and Northern British Columbia. Roles involve supervising crews, well testing duties, and reporting to Field Superintendent with travel roughly 20 days a month.

Candidates must have 5+ years in Well Testing, reside in Alberta or have accommodations, and hold Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, and CSO from Energy Safety Canada. A truck and full set of tools are required, with drug screening.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in Well Testing.
• Reside in Alberta or have accommodations and be able to report to Grande Prairie or Red Deer.
• Certifications: Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, CSO training from Energy Safety Canada.
• Must provide a truck and full set of tools.
• Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screens required for all safety sensitive positions.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of site and personnel.
• Coordinate with other service companies on location.
• Supervision and completion of rig in/out and equipment usage.
• Maintain and service all well testing equipment.
• Communicate with client, site personnel, night operators and operations managers.
• Oversee accurate readings, data and samples during shifts.
• Create Daily Operations Tickets and track crew charges for day/night shifts.
• Complete shift paperwork.
• Train personnel under supervision.
• Follow governing regulations and safety guidelines; ask questions if unclear.
• Work away from home and long hours possible.
