Job summary

Colter Energy Inc. is seeking Day Supervisors for our Grande Prairie location. These field-based roles require travel to Alberta and Northern British Columbia to perform gas well testing duties, roughly 20 days per month.

Competitive day rates, plus subsistence, truck allowance, and mileage/towing are provided. We seek candidates with at least 5 years of well testing experience, and who reside near Grande Prairie. Required certifications include Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, and CSO training.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in Well Testing
• Reside or have accommodations in Grande Prairie area (within 30 minutes)
• Certifications: Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, CSO training from Energy Safety Canada
• Supervisors require a truck and full set of tools
• Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screens required for all Safety Sensitive Positions

Responsibilities

• Supervision of site and personnel
• Liaise with other service companies on location
• Supervision of rig in and out of equipment
• Maintenance and servicing all well testing equipment
• Communicate with client and on-site personnel across shifts
• Record readings and submit data and samples during shift
• Create Daily Operations Tickets and manage crew charges for day and night shifts
• Complete shift paperwork
• Train positions under supervision
• Follow regulatory rules and Colter safety guidelines
• Willing to work away from home and long hours
• Follow directions from Field Superintendent and Operations Management
