Job summary

Colter Energy LP is seeking Field Assistants based in Blackfalds and Grande Prairie to support gas well testing duties.

Role involves traveling about 20 days per month across Alberta, Saskatchewan and Northern British Columbia, performing testing and equipment maintenance. We offer competitive wages, an excellent benefits program and RRSP matching.

Qualifications

• Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screens are required for all Safety Sensitive Positions.
• Reside in the Red Deer or Grande Prairie area (within 30 minutes of our shops).

Responsibilities

• Aiding in the rig in and out of the equipment associated with the job.
• General maintenance and servicing all well testing equipment, with direction from Supervisor.
• Perform accurate readings of gauges and monitors during shift.
• Working knowledge of rules and regulations provided by governing regulatory bodies and the willingness to ask questions if things are unclear.
• Adherence to Colter safety guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Able to work away from home and necessary hours that can exceed 12 per shift.
• Able and willing to follow direction for assigned duties from Field Supervisors and Management.

We are currently seeking team members for a full time Field Assistants based out of our Blackfalds and Grande Prairie locations. These positions are field based, involving approximately 20 days a month travelling to work sites throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Northern British Columbia to perform gas well testing duties. ABOUT YOU

• Field Assistants do not require any experience in the oil & gas industry or Well Testing
• Reside in the Red Deer or Grande Prairie area (within 30 minutes of our shops)
• Required certifications; Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, CSO training from Energy Safety Canada
• Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screens are required for all Safety Sensitive Positions
