Job summary

Sabail FC is seeking Field Assistants for fill-time roles based out of Blackfalds and Grande Prairie. Positions require travel to sites across Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Northern British Columbia to perform gas well testing duties. Day rates start at $300, plus subsistence, with competitive benefits.

These positions are field-based, with about 20 travel days per month. Certifications required include Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, CSO from Energy Safety Canada; pre-employment drug and alcohol

Qualifications

• Reside in Red Deer or Grande Prairie area within 30 minutes of shops.
• Certifications required: Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, CSO training.
• Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screens required for safety roles.

Responsibilities

• Aiding in the rig in and out of equipment.
• General maintenance and servicing of well testing gear.
• Take accurate readings of gauges and monitors.
• Follow safety guidelines and regulatory rules.
• Work away from home; long shifts may exceed 12 hours.
• Follow directions from Field Supervisors and Management.

Job description

We are currently seeking team members for a full time Field Assistants based out of our Blackfalds and Grande Prairie locations. These positions are field based, involving approximately 20 days a month travelling to work sites throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Northern British Columbia to perform gas well testing duties. About You

• Field Assistants do not require any experience in the oil & gas industry or Well Testing
• Reside in the Red Deer or Grande Prairie area (within 30 minutes of our shops)
• Required certifications; Standard First Aid, H2S Alive, CSO training from Energy Safety Canada
• Pre-employment Drug & Alcohol screens are required for all Safety Sensitive Positions

MAJOR ROLES & RESPONSIBLITIES

• Aiding in the rig in and out of the equipment associated with the job
• General maintenance and servicing all well testing equipment, with direction from Supervisor
• Perform accurate readings of gauges and monitors during shift
• Working knowledge of rules and regulations provided by governing regulatory bodies and the willingness to ask questions if things are unclear
• Adherence to Colter safety guidelines, policies and procedures
• Able to work away from home and necessary hours that can exceed 12 per shift
• Able and willing to follow direction for assigned duties from Field Supervisors and Management
