Job summary

RONA is seeking a customer service team member to assist customers in-store or via telephone, manage special orders, and keep the store organized and well stocked. You will contribute to a great shopping experience through attentive service and knowledge of products.

The role emphasizes strong selling skills, clear communication, and a proactive approach to promotional events and training opportunities within our store network.

Qualifications

• Effective selling skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to assess customer requirements and make recommendations.
• Some experience in a customer-focused role is required.
• Ability to perform duties involving stretching, bending, lifting, and carrying medium to heavy products.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with information/product requirements in-store or over the phone.
• Prepare and confirm special orders, coordinate with purchasers for price/availability.
• Maintain store area, ensure shelves are stocked and signage is current; monitor inventory.
• Stay updated on flyers and promotions.
• Improve product knowledge and selling techniques through training.
