Job summary

Gardewine is seeking a Class 5 City/Regional Driver based in Flin Flon, MB, to perform daily home runs to nearby communities with both dry and temperature controlled freight. The role is Monday to Friday, daytime hours, with a physically demanding workload including tailgate work and freight handling.

You will represent a longtime Manitoba trucking leader, delivering reliable service, working independently, and upholding safety expectations across multiple terminals and customer sites.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class 5 Drivers license.
• Strong customer service skills are required.
• Ability to work independently and maintain a professional mindset.
• Experience using freight handling equipment and operating safely.

Responsibilities

• Deliver all types of freight, dry or temperature-controlled, from the terminal to surrounding communities.
• Work schedule primarily days, Monday to Friday.
• Handle tailgate, hand bombing, and/or wheeling as needed.
• Represent Gardewine with safety and professionalism on every run.

Class 5 – City / Regional Driver (Flin Flon M.B.)

The Job

The Class 5 City / Regional Driver will be responsible for completing all types of freight deliveries either temperature controlled or dry, from terminal to surrounding communities. Work schedule will primarily be days. The position is physically demanding with freight handling needs of tailgate work, hand bombing and or wheeling in freight as needed.

• Home daily run
• Monday to Friday
• Tailgate skid moving, hand bombing and wheeling will be required

• Valid Class 5 Drivers license
• Proven skill set to deliver strong customer service
