Job summary

Empower Simcoe in Orillia seeks a Permanent Full-Time Flex Support Worker II to provide flexible, person-centered support across multiple group living locations. You will work in Orillia locations with a rotating 12-hour shift pattern totaling 72 hours biweekly.

The role requires a DSW diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work weekends/holidays. Benefits include life insurance, health, dental, RRSP matching, and holiday pay.

Qualifications

• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver’s license (G) and own transportation.
• Experience in social services and supporting people with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide flexible, person-centered support to individuals with intellectual disabilities in a group home setting.
• Assist with personal care, household duties, meal preparation, finances, and accompanying individuals to appointments and activities.
• Be prepared for redeployment to different locations based on agency priorities and emergent needs.
