Job summary

Empower Simcoe in Barrie is seeking a Permanent Full-Time Flex Support Worker III to provide flexible, person-centered support across multiple group living locations within Empower Simcoe, at our Barrie locations. The Flex Support Worker will fill vacant shifts and respond to immediate staffing needs, with redeployment as necessary.

Minimum qualifications include a Developmental Service Worker diploma or equivalent, a valid G licence, and ability to work weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• DSW diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in community residential/social services preferred.
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to individuals with intellectual disabilities in group homes.
• Assist with personal care, household duties, meals, finances, appointments and community activities.
• Be redeployed to different locations based on needs and priorities.
