Job summary

NorQuest College is seeking a Casual Instructor for the Advanced Foot Care post-diploma certificate program. This role involves remote guidance during asynchronous coursework and in-person instruction during labs and clinical placements, ensuring learners develop advanced foot care skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing is required.
• Active nursing licensure in good standing with CLHA or CARNA with a specialization in advanced foot care.
• Advanced Foot Care Practice Authorization and specialization in Advanced Foot Care.
• Recent experience in advanced foot care nursing practice.
• Experience with learning management systems and instructional technologies is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance and instruction related to advanced foot care theory, clinical skills, and professional practice.
• Support learners throughout asynchronous online learning, in-person labs, and clinical placements.
• Deliver hands-on demonstrations and simulated clinical learning experiences that support skill development and competency assessment.
• Utilize a variety of instructional methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and enhance student comprehension.
• Foster a supportive learning environment that promotes student engagement and success.
