Job summary

Charger Logistics Inc. is seeking a Shop Parts Coordinator to support the maintenance shop’s day-to-day operations.

You will coordinate service activities, manage truck and trailer parts inventory, and maintain repair records, ensuring clear communication between mechanics, vendors and internal departments. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in a service or parts role, knowledge of truck parts and inventory, and strong organizational skills to thrive in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Service Advisor, Parts Coordinator, Service Coordinator, or similar role.
• Experience in heavy truck, transportation, fleet maintenance or repair is an asset.
• Knowledge of truck and trailer parts, inventory management, and service operations.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills for a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain truck and trailer parts inventory, track stock levels and order parts as required.
• Work with Mechanics and Service Coordinators to ensure parts are available for repairs.
• Review open service orders and ensure labour, parts, and costs are recorded accurately.
• Enter and maintain repair records in the service management system.
• Maintain real-time status updates on all shop work.
• Plan daily repair schedules and coordinate trucks needing service.
• Inspect incoming deliveries for accuracy and report issues promptly.
• Coordinate with Safety regarding maintenance and compliance.
• Prepare customer invoices and process repair deductions as required.
