The Department of Infrastructure is seeking a Fleet Coordinator in Inuvik to manage and record maintenance information for GNWT's mobile assets and heavy equipment. You will use an asset maintenance system to ensure accurate data and support economical, high-quality service.
The role reports to the Fleet Manager and requires knowledge of fleet management, data analysis, and relevant software, plus a Diploma with two years of related experience and a valid Class 5 driver's license.
The Department of Infrastructure (INF) provides high quality services to the public and Government of the Northwest Territories’ (GNWT) departments, boards and agencies including the planning, design, construction, acquisition, operation and maintenance of public transportation infrastructure and the buildings, works and equipment required for the GNWT to deliver its programs and services. INF makes essential petroleum products available for sale to the public where these products are not provided by the private sector, and promotes the development and increased use of energy efficient technologies. INF also regulates electrical and mechanical safety services and licenses individuals and vehicles operating in the territory.
The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for the accurate recording and tracking of information related to a centrally-managed fleet of mobile assets and heavy equipment via an asset maintenance system in support of economical and quality service for the Government of the Northwest Territories (GNWT).
Located in Inuvik, The Fleet Coordinator reports to the Fleet Manager and is responsible for day-to-day tracking of maintenance information of the GNWT's mobile assets, including all GNWT light vehicles and the Department of Infrastructure heavy equipment fleet.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Typically, the above qualifications would be attained by:
Diploma in business management or related discipline, with two years of experience in data analysis or data management capacity.
A Valid Class 5 Driver's license.
