Job summary

ARC’TERYX is seeking a Fit Coordinator in North Vancouver to support the fit and pattern teams, ensuring consistent quality, fit and performance across products. This fixed-term role ends Oct 2027 and requires eligibility to work in Canada.

You will collaborate with Design, Development and sewing teams to maintain and develop blocks, organize libraries and assist in documenting fit processes while upholding fair labor practices.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of production patternmaking, grading and fitting experience.
  • Undergraduate degree in apparel design or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Fit and Pattern Block program; ensure fit and layering theory aligns with guest and brand needs.
  • Collaborate with Design and Development to maintain existing blocks and develop new blocks for seasonal/trend requirements.
  • Work with sewing team to maintain block sample library up to date.
  • Organize and track the block sample library.
  • Support CLO3D block library and related activities.
  • Assist Fit specialists through development season from concept to fit-approved stage.
  • Coordinate communications between Merchandising, Compliance and Brand Marketing for consistent guest messaging on fit and sizing.
  • Contribute to solving fit issues and ensuring spec accuracy across products.

Thisis a temporary fixed term role with an expected end date of October 2027. The roleis based out of our North Vancouver office. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

If you were in the Fit Coordinator role now, here are some of the core activities you would be doing:
  • Supportingthe Fitand PatternBlock program, collaborating cross-functionally to ensure fit and layering theory is in alignment with guest and brand needs

  • Collaborating with Design and Development teams tomaintainthe existing blocks and develop new blocks for seasonal and trend requirements

  • Collaborating with sewing team tomaintainthe block sample library up to date

  • Organizingand tracking the block sample library

  • Supporting and contributing to CLO3Dblock library

  • Supporting Fit specialists throughout the development season, from concepting through to fit approved stage

  • Supporting the communications between Merchandising, Compliance and Brand Marketing teams to ensure clear guest messaging on fit, sizing specs and layering approach is universally translated

  • Supporting Design and Development teams toproblem solveand evaluate consistency of fit in products, providing guidance and support for spec accuracy

  • Supporting Fit specialistsoncreating fit documentation for educational purposes

  • Ensuring fit models and mannequins appropriatelyrepresenttarget figures

  • Supporting on other projects as assigned

  • Upholding Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing, throughout the Arc’teryx supply chain

  • Working on the evolution of fit and fit consistency across all product categories

  • Providing feedback and input into improvingfitand development processes.

Are you our next Fit Coordinator?
  • You have2+ years’experience in production patternmaking, grading, and fitting

  • You have an Undergraduate Degree in apparel design or other relevant field, equivalent industry training/certificationor related business experience

  • You have knowledge ofsizing, fitting and body shapes globally

  • You have knowledge of garment construction and CAD patternmaking

  • Youare proficientin Microsoft Officeand Adobe illustrator

  • You are fluent in English and have exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written

  • You haveexcellentattention to detail

  • You have strong interpersonal skills

  • Youremainflexible and adaptable when faced with ambiguity

  • You effectively balance autonomy and collaboration

  • You are proactive inidentifyingthe root cause of issues and developing solutions

  • Youseekthe best (but sometimes not the easiest) solutions, with an unwavering commitment to do what is right

Compensation

Thesalary range for this role is CAD$71,000 – CAD$93,000.
