Job description

As a Fit Coordinator, you support the fit and pattern team in maintaining a consistent level of quality, fit, and performance in product. This is a temporary fixed‑term role with an expected end date of October 2027, based out of our North Vancouver office. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

Meet your future team: We are an innovative group of creatives comprised of product developers, designers, patternmakers, cutters, and sewers who collaborate cross‑functionally to craft and develop best‑in‑class ideas and bring technical products to life.

Core Responsibilities
  • Support the Fit and Pattern Block program, collaborating cross‑functionally to ensure fit and layering theory aligns with guest and brand needs.
  • Collaborate with Design and Development teams to maintain existing blocks and develop new blocks for seasonal and trend requirements.
  • Assist the sewing team in maintaining the block sample library and organize/tracking the library.
  • Support and contribute to the CLO 3D block library.
  • Support Fit specialists throughout the development season, from concepting to fit‑approved stage.
  • Facilitate communications between Merchandising, Compliance and Brand Marketing teams to ensure clear guest messaging on fit, sizing specs and layering approach.
  • Help Design and Development teams problem‑solve, evaluating consistency of fit in products and provide guidance on spec accuracy.
  • Assist Fit specialists in creating fit documentation for educational purposes.
  • Ensure fit models and mannequins represent target figures accurately.
  • Support other projects as assigned.
  • Uphold the Fair Labor Association’s Workplace Code of Conduct and Principles of Fair Labor and Responsible Sourcing throughout the Arc’teryx supply chain.
Future Projects
  • Work closely with Design and Merchandising teams to support a strategic plan for fit extensions across all product categories.
  • Identify new product opportunities and create blocks with the Design team.
  • Evolve fit and fit consistency across all product categories.
  • Provide feedback and input into improving fit and development processes.
Qualifications
  • 2+ years’ experience in production patternmaking, grading, and fitting.
  • Undergraduate degree in apparel design or a related field; equivalent industry training, certification or related business experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of sizing, fitting and body shapes globally.
  • Knowledge of garment construction and CAD patternmaking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Fluent in English with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability when faced with ambiguity.
  • Ability to balance autonomy and collaboration.
  • Proactive in identifying root causes of issues and developing solutions.

Compensation

The salary range for this role is CAD$71,000 – CAD$93,000.
