Job summary

Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's Regina is seeking a Retail Outfitter to join a team delivering legendary customer service and expert product knowledge. You will help customers make informed purchases, promote programs, and maintain attractive, organized merchandise displays on the sales floor.

The role emphasizes a passion for the outdoors, strong interpersonal skills, and the ability to upsell and exceed customer expectations in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• One or more years' experience in a sales or service environment is preferred.
• Ability to evaluate customers' needs and provide appropriate recommendations.
• Knowledge of Bass Pro Shops & Cabela's products is an asset.

Summary: Reporting to the Group Sales Manager, a Retail Outfitter will work within a team to create a world class shopping experience by providing legendary customer service and exceptional product knowledge to every customer.

Responsibilities

• Provide legendary customer service by assisting customers in making buying decisions by identifying and evaluating customers' needs, and making product recommendations based off of this analysis
• Promote various company programs and promotions
• Maintain visual presentation standards including in-store signage, merchandise recovering/front facing, restocking, remerchandising, dusting, and vacuuming sales floor as needed
• Respond to and resolve customer issues by using good judgment and logic in solving problems and making decisions within the job scope
• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate
• Demonstrate a passion for the outdoors by maintaining knowledge of trends and emerging technologies that relate to the outdoor lifestyle
• Assist in other areas of the store when business needs dictate
