What you will be doing:
- Interact with users at all levels of the organization to elicit and define business requirements related to process improvement initiatives and/or business needs.
- Lead ongoing reviews of business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, develop optimization strategies, and implement solutions.
- Utilize business/technical acumen and skilled communication to create use cases, business requirements documentation (BRD), and functional requirements documentation (FRD) for internal & external IT partners and business departments to develop efficient and satisfactory technical solutions.
- Develop comprehensive workflow diagrams of current “As-Is” and future “Should-Be” business processes, systems, and user interactions using MS Visio or other process flow applications.
- Collaborate with IT development teams to create testing strategies, plans, and write test scripts based on business requirements and use cases.
- Communicate insights and plans effectively to cross-functional teams and management.
- Gather critical information from meetings with stakeholders and produce useful reports.
What you must have:
- Hands-on BA experience with understanding of banking transactions, accounts, customer data, deposits, loans, etc.
- 10+ years of experience in Banking and Financial Services.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment, including writing business requirements and user stories.
- Experience conducting and facilitating requirement gathering and consensus-building workshops.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Interpersonal and team-building skills, with the ability to manage conflicts.
- Ability to understand and focus on business unit needs, establish credibility, and build relationships.
- Attention to detail with excellent follow-through.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet multiple deadlines.
- Proficiency in PC applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to write and execute SQL queries and Python scripts.
- Sound judgment, professionalism, integrity, strong work ethic, proactive, results-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks.
- Ability to clearly communicate complex concepts and maintain composure in a dynamic environment.
- Strong organizational, management, and communication skills (verbal and written).
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Technical skills including Excel, PowerPoint, Visual Basic, and macros.
