Job summary

Chartright Air Group is seeking a qualified First Officer to join our private jet operations out of Mississauga, handling duties on the Citation Ultra/Encore. You will work closely with the Captain to ensure flights meet SOPs, CARs, and SMS standards, while delivering exceptional client service and coordinating with the Flight Coordination Centre and Sales on reserve days.

Applicants should hold a Canadian ATPL or IATRA, Group 1 ME IFR, and a Transport Canada medical certificate, with 750 hours

Qualifications

• Mandatory Canadian ATPL or IATRA and Group 1 ME IFR.
• 750 hours total time and 250 hours PIC in multi-engine aircraft.
• Proficiency with FMS and glass cockpit operations.
• Strong knowledge of aviation weather, flight planning, weight and balance; CARs & SMS.

The Opportunity

Join a dynamic operation that provides private jet charter, aircraft management, maintenance, and FBO services across Canada. In this role, you’ll partner with the Captain to ensure safe, efficient flight operations while supporting day‑to‑day coordination, reserve‑day readiness, and direct client interactions that elevate every journey.

What You’ll Do

• Serve as First Officer on the Citation Ultra/Encore fleet, executing flight duties with a safety‑first mindset.
• Work closely with the Captain to ensure all flights are conducted in full compliance with company SOPs, CARs, and SMS practices.
• Support operational activities on available reserve days, liaising with the Flight Coordination Centre and Sales to meet operational and service requirements.
• Deliver attentive, professional customer service that contributes to an exceptional client experience.
• Promote collaboration and continuous improvement by sharing ideas, insights, and solutions with colleagues.
• Complete monthly training courses and perform other assigned duties to maintain currency and proficiency.

What You Bring

• Licences: Canadian ATPL or valid IATRA; Group 1 Multi-Engine IFR; valid Transport Canada medical; Canadian Radio Telephone Licence.
• Experience: Minimum 750 hours total time and 250 hours PIC in multi‑engine aircraft; turbine time and previous time on type are preferred.
• Technical: Proficiency with FMS and glass cockpit operations; strong knowledge of aviation weather, airport performance, flight planning, fuel planning, and weight and balance.
• Regulatory: Expert knowledge of CARs and safety management system (SMS) practices; international operating experience.
• Attributes: Positive mindset, strong collaboration and relationship‑building skills, excellent written and verbal communication, outstanding client service, organization, and prioritization.
• Other: Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work a flexible schedule to meet operational needs.
