Job summary

Chartright Air Group seeks a Captain for the Citation X based in Toronto, joining a three-pilot team. You will ensure safe flight operations, support daily activities, and liaise with Flight Coordination and Sales to meet client needs.

The role rewards collaborative problem solving, exceptional client service, and ongoing training. Applicants bring ATPL or IATRA, multi-engine IFR, valid TC medical, jet PIC hours, and international experience.

Qualifications

• ATPL or IATRA is required.
• Group 1 Multi-Engine IFR rating.
• Valid Transport Canada Medical.
• Canadian Radio Telephone License required.
• Jet PIC hours are required.
• Minimum of 4000 hours total flight time.
• Minimum of 1000 multi-engine PIC hours.
• Minimum of 1000 jet PIC hours.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Captain on the Citation X in Toronto as part of a three-pilot crew.
• Ensure flights are conducted safely.
• Support daily operation activities on reserve days.
• Coordinate with Flight Coordination Centre and Sales to meet requirements.
• Foster collaboration and suggest improvements.
• Provide direct client service ensuring exceptional experiences.
• Attend monthly training and perform other duties as required.

What You’ll Do

• Act as a Captain on the Citation X aircraft in Toronto as part of a dedicated three-pilot crew
• Ensure flights are conducted in a safe manner
• Support daily operation activities on available reserve days
• Liaise with Chartright’s Flight Coordination Centre and Sales to ensure all operational and service requirements are delivered
• Foster an environment of collaboration and encourage an atmosphere where co-workers can share ideas, improvements and solutions
• Provide direct customer service to clients contributing to their exceptional client experience
• Perform monthly training courses and other duties as required

What You Bring

• Canadian Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) or Valid IATRA
• Group 1 Multi-Engine IFR
• Valid Transport Canada Medical
• Canadian Radio Telephone License
• Type rating in CL64 series aircraft is an asset
• Minimum of 4000 hours total flight time
• Minimum of 1000 multi-engine PIC hours
• Minimum of 1000 jet PIC hours
• Ability to lift up to 60 Ibs
• International experience
• Hands-on experience with flight management systems and glass cockpits
• Strong understanding of aviation weather, airport performance, flight plan calculations, fuel planning, weight and balance
• Expert knowledge of the Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs) and SMS safety practices
• A positive mindset with the strong ability to work collaboratively and effectively build relationships across the organization
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional client service, organization and prioritization skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to support clients’ needs
• Previous International flying experience (Europe & South America) is required
• Previous time on type is preferred
