Job summary

Chartright is seeking a Captain on the Challenger 650 to lead safe, efficient, and client‑focused operations across domestic and international routes. You will act as PIC, work with the Flight Coordination Centre, and ensure an exceptional onboard experience for private jet travelers.

Candidates must have Canadian ATPL or IATRA, Group 1 Multi‑Engine IFR, TC Medical, 4,000 hours total, 1,000 hours multi‑engine PIC, 1,000 hours jet PIC, and international experience.

Qualifications

• Canadian ATPL or IATRA with appropriate medical clearance.
• 4,000 hours total, 1,000 hours multi-engine PIC, 1,000 hours jet PIC.
• International operations experience, including Europe and South America.
• Strong knowledge of weather, flight planning, CARs, and SMS.
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Act as PIC on Challenger 650, ensuring safe, standard flights.
• Coordinate with Flight Coordination Centre and Sales for client service.

The Opportunity

As Captain on the Challenger 650, you will lead safe, efficient, and customer-focused operations across domestic and international routes. You’ll support reserve-day operational activities, contribute to continuous improvement, and represent Chartright’s commitment to excellence on every mission.

What You’ll Do

• Act as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on the Challenger 650, ensuring all flights are conducted safely and to standard.
• Collaborate with the Flight Coordination Centre and Sales to align operational needs with exceptional client service.
• Support day-to-day operational duties during available reserve days to keep the fleet mission-ready.
• Promote a culture of teamwork by sharing ideas, improvements, and solutions with colleagues.
• Deliver a refined, client-first onboard experience for private-jet travelers.
• Complete monthly training and maintain all required qualifications and currency.
• Perform other duties as required to support safe, reliable, and on-time operations.

What You Bring

• Licences: Canadian ATPL or valid IATRA; Group 1 Multi-Engine IFR privileges; valid Transport Canada Medical; Canadian Radio Telephone Licence.
• Flight Experience (minimum): 4,000 hours total time; 1,000 hours multi-engine PIC; 1,000 hours jet PIC.
• International Experience: Proven international operations, including Europe and South America.
• Technical Proficiency: Hands‑on experience with flight management systems (FMS) and glass cockpits.
• Operational Knowledge: Strong grasp of aviation weather, airport performance, flight‑planning calculations, fuel planning, weight and balance, Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs), and Safety Management System (SMS) practices.
• Physical Requirement: Able to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Professional Skills: Excellent collaboration, communication, client service, organization, prioritization, and scheduling abilities.
• Nice to Have: CL64-series type rating; previous time on type preferred.
