Job summary

Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) in Ontario is seeking an experienced Fire Protection Engineer to provide expert guidance on fire protection and life-safety systems for real property assets.

You will review designs, conduct code-compliance assessments, inspections, and commissioning, and ensure alignment with NBC, NFPA standards, and Treasury Board policies across federal facilities.

Qualifications

• Recent experience providing fire protection engineering services for federal government or other public-sector facilities.
• Experience applying federal fire protection requirements, including Treasury Board, PSPC and Canada Labour Code requirements.
• Knowledge of the National Building Code of Canada, National Fire Code of Canada, and applicable standards such as ULC and NFPA.

• Essential experiences include design and code-compliance reviews for real property assets.
