Job summary

Classic Fire + Life Safety in Ottawa is hiring a Fire Alarm Service Manager to lead our Service Division. You will develop, coach, and direct the Fire Alarm Team, coordinating with sales, customer service, accounting, procurement, and management to achieve profitability and customer satisfaction.

You will manage field and shop staff, drive project execution, ensure safety, and maintain strong client relationships while promoting life safety and service excellence across our operations in Ontario.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in technical/electrical/building automation/life safety services.
• Current or past CFAA Certification would be an asset.
• Proven track record in a fast-paced, service-based environment.
• Knowledge of Ontario Building Code, Ontario Fire Code, and Ontario Electrical Codes.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Direct management of field and shop services staff.
• Project management of jobs with coordination with Customer Service, Admins and Sales.
• Monitor performance against goals and take corrective action when needed.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and prospects.
• Assist with pricing T&M service jobs and scheduling.
