Job summary

Classic Fire + Life Safety is seeking a Fire Alarm Technician to provide quality service to customers, with leadership responsibilities mentoring trainees. This role is a key contributor to operations and growth while ensuring compliance with codes and high customer service standards.

Responsibilities include inspections, service and repairs on fire alarm systems and emergency lighting, installation of components, mentoring staff, and on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• CFAA Registered Technician status.
• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in the fire alarm industry as a fully licensed technician.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and a high level of electronic aptitude.
• Knowledge of applicable codes and standards.
• Clean driver’s abstract and valid G driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Perform weekly, monthly, semi-annual, and annual inspections as required.
• Conduct service work and repairs on fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, and other equipment.
• Install and verify fire alarm system components.
• Mentor and oversee assistants and trainees, facilitating knowledge transfer.
• Participate in on-call rotations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Description

The Fire Alarm Technician is a motivated, organized, and personable individual providing quality service to customers. This role involves leadership responsibilities, including mentoring trainees and assistants. The Fire Alarm Technician is a key contributor to Classic Fire + Life Safety’s operations and growth.
