FinTech Sales Operations Manager
We are looking for a Fintech Sales Operations Manager, to i mplement organization al strategies through the effective direction and management of resources.
This role will be part of the Sales Operations team in our Fintech Revenue Organization. The FinTech Revenue Organization aligns Sales, Commercial Strategy, and Operations to drive Nasdaq’s FinTech division’s growth. The FinTech Sales Operations team p artners with Sales, Commercial Management, Finance , Legal and Customer Experience to drive operational excellence across the deal lifecycle .
Your R ole and Responsibilities :
You will be responsible for managing and developing a team of people, setting direction, and driving the team’s charter of o ptimiz ing the sales process to support the FinTech revenue goals. In addition, you will provide guidance and expertise on as needed basis. As a Sales Ops Manager you are required to understand how other business units operate , how their goals align with organizational goals and have budget and profit/loss responsibility.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on a n experienced team, supporting the delivery of complex technology solutions to international clients. You will work with and learn from subject matter experts and take on more responsibility and progress within the Sales Operations team. You will work closely with Nasdaq team members across the globe and with different functions on a daily basis.
Your key responsibilities are:
Sales Process Optimization : Analyze and refine the sales process to ensure efficiency and effectiveness. This involves streamlining workflows, implementing best pr actices, and leveragi ng technol ogy to enhance productivity. In addition, focus on getting continuous feedback (for example, running retrospective s , regular touch points) from the Sales team and other stakeholders to address concerns and identify areas f or improvement
Stakeholder Management: Strong stakeholder management skills are essential as you will be interacting with the Americas sales leaders on a daily basis.
Performance Metrics and Reporting : Regularly generate and analyze reports to provide insights and recommendations for improvement.
Team Management and Development : L ead and mentor the Americas sales operations team, providing guidance and support to achieve individual and team goals . Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture. Ensure that the team follows the FinTech Rev Ops charter .
Salesforce CRM : Collaborate with the Salesforce tooling team to e nsure that the Sales processes / workflows are properly implemented, m aintained and continuously enhanced to improv e the overall performance, user experience, and compliance.
Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams : Work closely with legal , product development, and customer service s teams to ensure alignment and support for sales initiatives. Facilitate communication and collaboration across departments.
Sales Training and Enablement : Develop and deliver training program s , such as onboarding new Sales hires, new /updated process changes, office hours etc . Provide ongoing support to the Sales team in achieving FinTech financial targets .
Technology and Tools Management : Assist in the evaluation and implementation of sales lifecycle tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Keep abreast of advancements in sales technology and ensure their appropriate application .
Maintain a good understanding of the FinTech product s portfolio and how products within FinTech interact .
Working on ad-hoc requests supporting Rev Ops and Head of Sales Ops in executing team objectives .
We expect you to have:
6 + years of experience in Sales / Revenue Operations function within FinTech or enterprise B2B software or SaaS industries.
L ed a Support team of individuals ranging from junior to mid-level members
A solid understanding of Sales Lifecycle , Contract Lifecycle , Sales Operations processes
H ands-on experience in Salesforce Sales CRM , MS Excel , PowerPoint
E xcellent communication skills to exchange complex information within their division and with cross functional partners
Experience in managing CPQ and/or CLM tools would be a plus
Education Qualification : D egree in Business, Finance or Computer Science (or equivalent) is preferred
This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in our Toronto office.
