Qualifications

• High school diploma required; post-secondary education is an asset.
• 2-4 years of financial services experience preferred.
• Previous sales and member service experience required.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and digital banking systems.
• Demonstrated commitment to teamwork, accountability, and member service.

Responsibilities

• Build strong member relationships by identifying needs and recommending appropriate products and services.
• Open and maintain personal and business accounts, registered and non-registered investments, term deposits, and lending products.
• Process a variety of member transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, bill payments, drafts, wires, and foreign currency.
• Support members with digital banking, debit and credit card services, safety deposit boxes, and account maintenance requests.
• Generate referrals to lending, wealth management, insurance, and business banking specialists.
• Resolve member inquiries and concerns with a focus on delivering exceptional member service.
• Ensure compliance with credit union policies, privacy requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Support branch operations, cash management, balancing activities, and administrative functions as required.
