Job summary

Northern Credit Union in Deep River, Ontario, is seeking a full-time Member Advisor to provide banking services, promote products, and grow membership. You’ll work within established policies to up-sell loans, mortgages, deposits and investments while delivering excellent client service.

The role reports to the Branch Manager and requires two years in lending/investment advisory, strong sales focus, and a commitment to continuous learning. Starting wage is CAD 28.65 per hour.

Qualifications

• College diploma or high school diploma with banking or sales experience.
• Two years' experience in lending/investment/advisory environment with a proven sales track record.
• Commitment to continuous learning within banking, technology, processes and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Market the organization's products and services within policies and procedures.
• Promote, up-sell and cross-sell lending and investment vehicles (loans, mortgages, deposits, investments).
• Open new member accounts and solicit membership growth through referrals and inquiries.
• Meet/exceed individual targets and support team sales initiatives.
