Job Title: Financial Reporting Manager

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will be responsible for preparing the company’s financial statements and regulatory filings, leveraging technology to improve efficiency. We value innovation and teamwork at Skeena.

Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting: Prepare quarterly and annual financial statements and MD&A in compliance with IFRS; stay updated on regulatory changes; prepare or review supporting documentation.
2. Month-End and Close Processes: Complete month-end procedures accurately; oversee ERP transactions for data integrity.
3. Audit and Compliance: Act as the primary liaison with auditors; support internal controls to ensure compliance with NI 52-109 and SOX.
4. Team Leadership: Train and review junior staff work; support their professional growth.
5. Other Duties: Perform additional tasks as required.

Candidate Profile

• CPA designation required.
• 2-4 years of experience in a public accounting firm.
• Familiarity with Pronto Xi ERP is a strong asset.
• Mining experience is an asset but not required.
• Proficient with technology to improve reporting processes.
• Strong communication, organizational, multitasking, and ethical skills.

Work Conditions

This is an office-based role in Vancouver, BC, Monday to Friday, in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. Some flexibility in work location may be considered.

Compensation

The salary range is CAD $110,000–$125,000, based on experience and qualifications. All applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada. Priority will be given to Indigenous Nation members residing in project territories.
