Job summary

BDO Canada invites Co-op or Intern Students to join the Financial Reporting & Insights team in Manitoba from January to April 2027. The role focuses on reviews, compilations, and corporate tax (not auditing). You will develop hands-on experience with financial statements, tax work, and client service.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an accounting degree, value teamwork, and are eager to build their CPA pathway with support for study and flexible development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree/diploma in accounting.
• Interested in long-term growth within Financial Reporting & Insights.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Xero, and/or Sage is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently prepare financial statements for Notice to Reader and Review engagements.
• Prepare working files for income tax and information returns for varied clients.
• Build positive client relationships and respond to requests and suggestions.
• Complete ongoing accounting analysis following established procedures.
• Communicate progress and issues with team members.
