Job summary

BDO Canada in Manitoba is seeking Co-op or Intern Students to join the Financial Reporting & Insights team from May to August 2027. This role will offer experience with reviews, compilations, and corporate tax (not auditing).

The successful candidate will own the following responsibilities: Efficiently prepare financial statements for Notice to Reader and Review engagement. Prepare working files for income tax and information returns for a variety of client sizes.

Qualifications

Pursuing an accounting-related degree or diploma.
Interested in long-term growth within Financial Reporting & Insights.
Experience or certifications with QuickBooks, Xero and/or Sage.
Value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Efficiently prepare financial statements for Notice to Reader and Review engagement.
Prepare working files for income tax and information returns for a variety of client sizes.
Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to requests and suggestions.
Completion of ongoing accounting analysis and assignments following established procedures.
Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis.
