BDO Canada is seeking Co-op or Intern Students to join the Financial Reporting & Insights team in Manitoba from September to December 2027. You will gain experience with reviews, compilations, and corporate tax (not auditing), while supporting client service and professional development.

Qualifications

Currently working towards a degree/diploma, focused in accounting.
Interested in long-term growth within the Financial Reporting & Insights team.
Experience or certifications with QuickBooks, Xero and/or Sage.
Value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
Demonstrates strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Efficiently prepare financial statements for Notice to Reader and Review engagements.
Prepare working files for income tax and information returns for a variety of client sizes.
Build positive working relationships with clients and respond to requests and suggestions.
Complete ongoing accounting analysis and assignments following established procedures.
Communicate progress and issues with team members on an ongoing basis.
