Job summary

BDO Manitoba is seeking Co-op or Intern Students to join the Financial Reporting & Insights team from January to April 2027. You will gain exposure to reviews, compilations, and corporate tax (not auditing) while preparing financial statements and tax work products for diverse clients in a collaborative environment.

You are pursuing an accounting degree, value teamwork and client service, and will use tools like QuickBooks, Xero and Sage to support efficient, accurate work.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree/diploma in accounting.
• Interested in long term growth within the Financial Reporting & Insights team.
• Experience with QuickBooks, Xero and/or Sage is advantageous.
• Values teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work.
• Demonstrates strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Efficiently prepare financial statements for Notice to Reader and Review engagement.
• Prepare working files for income tax and information returns for a variety of client sizes.
• Build positive working relationships with clients and respond to requests and suggestions.
• Complete ongoing accounting analysis and assignments following established procedures.
• Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis.
