The Role:

Reporting to the CFO, the Director, Finance & Property oversees the Eastern Region Operation Finance, responsible for national new site development, property management, potential business initiatives, accounts payable, and administration departments.

Responsibilities:

1. Project Management and Financial Analysis - Eastern Region: Lead project management and financial analysis for the Eastern Region.
2. Business Evaluation: Lead evaluation of potential business initiatives and renovation projects; prepare presentation packages for senior management approval.
3. Financial Monitoring: Monitor and report on capital budgets and performance periodically.
4. Financial Management: Responsible for the financial budget and performance of the Eastern Region, including month-end reviews, variance analysis, and reporting.

Property - National:

• Champion new store development; evaluate potential sites and prepare proposals for capital approval; collaborate with senior leadership and real estate teams.
• Develop and lead the property management team to handle lease execution, renewal, and replacement for stores and facilities.
• Maintain effective communication with landlords, tenants, and internal teams.
• Develop strategic tenant profiles aligned with retail business goals.
• Stay updated on site development processes and market condition changes.

Accounts Payable – Eastern Region:

• Supervise the Eastern Region accounting team to ensure efficient month-end closing.
• Uphold internal controls and mitigate business risks.

Administration – Eastern Region:

• Oversee regional administration to support operations, warehouse, facilities, and new store openings.
• Implement cost reduction and waste management policies.

Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements:

A university degree plus membership in an accounting body or equivalent qualification.

5–8 years in retail business with understanding of operational models.

Over 5 years in real estate development, including approvals, financing, construction, and occupancy.

Strong leadership, strategic and operational skills, and excellent communication skills at all levels.

Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin or Cantonese preferred.
