Position Summary

Role will focus on financial planning, analysis, and reporting to support informed decision-making. Are responsible for analyzing financial data, monitoring key performance indicators, and preparing detailed financial reports and forecasts. Additionally, will collaborate with various departments to provide insights into cost control, revenue optimization, and financial strategies to enhance the company's financial performance and competitiveness

Location: Hybrid, from our office in Surrey, BC

Schedule: Mon-Fri, 40 hours

What You Will Do

  • Detailed analysis of margin trends, customer revenue and expenses and interpretation of divisional financial results
  • Develop key performance metrics for the various business units
  • Recommend strategies for increasing financial performance
  • Prepare accurate and detailed forecasts and annual budgets
  • Review and analyze month-end results, collaborating with the accounting team to ensure accuracy and adherence to financial policies.
  • Ensure all financial analysis and corresponding reports are accurate, timely and address the needs of the business
  • Work with various groups (Finance, Operations, IT), to assist in the integration of business acquisitions

What You’ll Bring

  • 2 - 4 years of experience
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Undergraduate degree required
  • Professional accounting designation preferred, but not required

  • Ability to consolidate, analyze and summarize large amounts of data from a variety of sources
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint with the ability to build complex formulas to support quantitative analysis, trend analysis, task automation and exception reporting
  • Strong communication, relationship building and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
