We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Junior Accountant to join our Finance team in Langley, BC.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the accounting team by compiling, reviewing, and completing various reports and assisting with other administrative duties.

You will be responsible for:

• Assisting the accounting team with the financial period close reports and reporting process.
• Preparing financial journal entries and assisting with payroll processing.
• Preparing account and bank reconciliations.
• Assisting with implementation and maintenance of internal financial controls.
• Other accounting duties as required.

You have:

• Completed a post-secondary education majoring in Accounting or Finance.
• 2 years of accounting experience in a retail or grocery setting (considered an asset).
• Intermediate knowledge of and proficiency with Microsoft desktop applications, including intermediate Excel skills and general ledger systems.

You are:

• An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Organized, with time management and planning abilities.

Compensation Details:

$52,880.00 - $66,100.00

The compensation offered for this position will take into consideration location, education, skills, experience, and other factors.
