Position Summary

As the Financial Analyst - Supply Finance, you will assist in achieving the company's goals by providing financial leadership to our plant operations, procurement and other cross-functional support teams. This includes monthly production variance reporting, product costing analysis, financial forecasting and year end audit support. You will be the primary finance partner to your plant team, helping bring the financial insight they require to drive the right actions and behaviors.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Own the plant finance monthly reporting cycle, coordinating inputs from multiple stakeholders (finance, production, supply chain etc.) to create, maintain and update periodic reporting packages, leadership team presentations and KPI dashboards.
  • Support the budgeting (Annual Operating Plan), forecasting (3+9, 6+6, 9+3), and strategic long-range planning (3-year Plan) processes by creating and maintaining financial models to capture inputs, extract insights and present findings using inputs from multiple stakeholders (finance, production, supply chain etc.).
  • Assist with financial modeling, analysis and evaluation of new product innovation and CAPEX investment projects, utilizing inputs from production, engineering, plant finance and brand finance teams to support evaluation and analysis.
  • Lead plant finance continuous improvement and process optimization through ongoing model improvements, process automation and process standardization.
  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis as required by the Supply Chain Director, Plant Finance and the Senior Leadership Team.
  • Support plant finance team in the year-end audit by providing coordinating deliverables with auditors.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree (business, finance or accounting specialization preferred).
  • Accounting designation (CPA) or working towards completion.
  • 3-5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting in a manufacturing environment. CPG experience is an asset.
  • Familiarity with Cost of Goods Manufactured & Sold (COGS & COGS), costing methodologies, and experience with SAP or other ERP systems.
  • Strong record of performance management, financial analysis and planning accountability.
  • Excellent analytical and financial modeling skills, with strong attention to detail. Strong Excel skills are required.
  • Experience uncovering key insights and leveraging them to make fact-based decisions.
  • Experience collaborating with and influencing cross-functional partners, with a solutions-oriented approach to solving problems.
  • Proactive and ambitious mindset, willing to challenge the status quo to improve the business.
  • Strong communication skills, and comfort working with more senior leaders of the organization.
