What You’ll Do

This role reports to the Manager of FP&A – Strategy, Innovation and Payments, with a dotted line reporting relationship to the Senior Financial Analyst on the

  • Collaborate with a Senior Analyst to update and create insightful management reports to enable business decisions

  • Enhance and create Excel financial models aimed to simplify business processes

  • Support financial services business cases for Canadian Tire’s True North strategy.

  • Create reports in Microsoft Power BI

  • Develop a strong understanding of Canadian Tire Financial Services\' strategy and financial results

  • Support internal clients with ad hoc analysis requests

What You Bring
  • Currently pursuing a university degree or college diploma in Finance/Accounting, Economics, Math, or another related discipline.

  • Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal), with the ability to collaborate across various levels within the organization.

  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint (or the ability to learn these tools on the job).

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Power BI is considered an asset but is not required; online training is provided.

  • Ability to work well both in a team environment and independently (including 4 days per week in the office and 1 day per week virtually)

Our typical hiring range is between $23.00 and $37.00 CAD Hourly. Salary decisions are also dependent on other factors such as your experience, job-related knowledge, skills and competencies, market location, industry benchmarks, internal equity and other role-specific requirements.
