My Client, a global provider of medical devices, is looking to recruit a Financial Accountant on an initial 12-month contract basis in Mayo. The role offers an attractive salary and the opportunity for hybrid working from home, with two days spent in the office.

Role of this position

1. Responsible for bank file processing for payroll payments
2. Journal entry preparation and processing of payroll journals
3. Balance sheet reconciliation preparation
4. VAT/VIES/Intrastat reporting requirements
5. Provide assistance to internal and external auditors
6. Responsible for delivery of the general accounting processes and activities of the Shared Service organization
7. Ensuring the integrity of internal financial controls
8. Projects and other responsibilities

Job Requirements

1. Qualified Accountant preferable but not essential
2. 2 years' experience in a similar role is an advantage
3. The ability to meet strict deadlines in a timely and efficient manner
4. Strong attention to detail
5. Excellent Excel and computer skills
