Job summary

Canfor is seeking a Finance Transformation Analyst to support the company’s transformation journey. You will work with the Manager, Finance Transformation and the Director, Shared Services & Finance Transformation to identify opportunities for process improvement and leverage digital tools to enhance efficiency across Finance.

Responsibilities include supporting initiatives, championing change management, analyzing processes, and collaborating with Finance, IT, and stakeholders to implement

Qualifications

Degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting, or related field.
3+ years of experience in finance transformation, process improvement, or business analysis.
Experience supporting change management, digital transformation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Office applications; Power Platform experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Support finance transformation initiatives driving process improvements and efficiencies.
Champion change management by helping teams adopt new processes and technologies.
Analyze existing finance processes to identify simplifications and automation opportunities.
Collaborate with Finance, IT, and stakeholders to implement digital tools.
Develop and enhance solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Promote cross-functional collaboration to improve business processes.
Contribute to continuous improvement projects across Finance.
Support training and knowledge sharing to strengthen digital capabilities.
Document policies, processes, and procedures for consistency.
