Job summary

OBSI, Canada's Ombudsman for Banking Services and Investments, seeks a Manager, Finance and Operations to lead daily financial operations, strengthen internal controls, and ensure accurate reporting and budgeting. The role supports office management and membership administration as part of a dynamic, hybrid Toronto-based team.

You will provide timely insights to senior leadership, coordinate audits and forecasting, and help drive efficiency and scalability across the organization while mentoring

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive finance experience including budgeting and forecasting.
• Experience supporting senior leadership decision-making.
• Experience with audits and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day financial operations and ensure strong internal controls.
• Provide timely insights to support management decisions and budgeting.
• Coordinate external audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll coordination, and cash flow.
• Manage OBSI firm membership processes and office administration.
• Drive process improvement and technology upgrades for reporting.
